Our Origin Story

Before there were cans and bottles, there were long conversations and half‑formed ideas about what was missing on shelves and behind bars. Shaun and Leigh kept coming back to the same frustration: too many “approachable” drinks were built on shortcuts.
Flowstate started as a side project and quickly became a shared commitment. They began testing, refining, and tightening the process until the drinks felt effortless to drink, but uncompromising in how they were made.


"I’ve always loved the technical side of things, the process, the precision, the quiet satisfaction of getting something just right. My love of brewing and production is what led me to creating Flowstate, It has become a place where we could experiment, refine, and build something that felt both personal and purposeful. It’s been a steep learning curve, but one I wouldn’t trade for anything."

My background is a mix of practical creativity, so building a drinks brand felt like a natural progression. It really began with a lot of conversations with Leigh about what we wanted to create and why. Flowstate grew from a desire to make something genuine and fun, a brand that actually cares about what it puts into the world, not just another booze label on a shelf."
