Oaked & Smoked Gin

The third seasonal/limited release and probably our most experimental to date.

This gin is the result of wanting to push the boundaries of what a Gin can be and to create a sipping Gin that holds its own in the colder months alongside a whiskey or a glass of red.

Our Craft Gin was rested on heavily charred American oak for four months, the wood’s influence has given the distillate a slight amber hue with a surprising depth of vanilla and sweet caramel.

The smoky influence was introduced using a process of cold smoking ice with maple wood chunks to infuse the liquid as it melts.

This smoky nectar was used as a blending component during the proofing down process.

The result is a striking gin with traditional nuance, sticky vanilla and a kiss of smoke, reminiscent of a woody campfire.
